For some reason, the MeTV station is on Verizion after the porn channels

Pretty tired right now. I came home from work late due to bad weather and having to get a prescription at CVS. To let you know how bad the weather was, my work lost power for a little over an hour. Then, it started raining really heavily (we haven't really gotten a lot of rain this month, and it's been really hot and humid every day), along with quite a lot of wind. The people at work told me not to bother going home until the weather died down. By the time I got home, the rain was almost gone, and it only takes me about 10-15 minutes to get home.

Also, about 3 minutes after I got out of CVS, THEY lost power, and the light that I was near did, too. Even though the rain wasn't torrential at that point, we still had a decent amount of thunder and lightning. The power has been weird all day. When I was out with my Dad on the way to the mall, we lost power AGAIN at a light. That's the worst, because of course it turns into a free for all.

I'm watching the Colbert Report now. I really don't like Mitt Romney. I didn't like him when he ran in '08, either. He just looks like a creepy guy who would try and sell you a crappy used car just to make a buck, you know? I don't know why I felt the need to say that. I can't say that around my Dad because he is a hard core Republican who has realized that Ron Paul has no chance, so he has to vote Romney. I know Obama isn't great, but I don't think he's as bad as most people make him out to be.

Anyway, here is my thankfulness for the day, I think this is day 24:
-I am thankful that I was able to get a punching bag and gloves, I'm excited to use them. My therapist suggested I get them to have something to hit when I'm angry, but I plan on training with them, too.
-I am thankful that I was able to get home and get my prescription even though the weather was awful.
-I am thankful that I was able to drink coffee to wake me up and get through my workout (it really helped).
-I am thankful that work was interesting, I was kind of tired, so it kept me going.
-I am thankful that I didn't lose power at home at all.
-I am thankful that I was able to walk my dogs, and my Dad actually came along, too.
-I am thankful that my Dad wants to use the punching bag, too.
-I am thankful that I was able to help my Dad get Frontline on the two cats and one of the dogs, I'm pretty sure my cat Saya had fleas.
-I am thankful that I was able to do pretty well on my diet and on my attitude today. I'm hoping I can keep it up long term. Though I know I will probably fall back on some bad habits at some point. That's one of the reasons I decided to keep this here, where it's pretty much locked away.

Anyway, I'm going to play some guitar before bed. Good night!-*Rukia*
